On Sunday 30th July 2013, thirty brass players assembled in the theatre of Culloden School near Inverness as an experiment into the feasibility of a brass band for the Highlands.

Under the baton of Glenn Munro from Moray Concert Brass a surprisingly successful ensemble gathered, and an enjoyable and rewarding day was had.

This event was to be the embryo that would mature into Highland Brass.
