This coming Saturday, Highland Brass will travel to the Perth Concert Hall to take part in the highly competitive fourth section of the Scottish Regional heat of the National Brass Competition.

The test piece, to be played by every fourth section band in the UK is "An English Pastorale" by Dean Jones.

The event is especially significant for one band member Colin Adamson (pictured) as it is to be his 139th performance in such a competition.
